I liked the part where Purr opened his present. I liked the part where Aaron was playing with the fishing rod and Purr. I liked the part when they brought back the menorahs.

Sydney, age 5

My daughter requested an immediate second reading of the book after we completed the first. We started at dinner, read all the way through bathtime, and straight into bedtime. My notable impression of the book is that there are no evil characters. The meowrats are simply lost, they aren't bad. How amazingly creative to have a fun, suspenseful book with no bad elements.

Marjorie (mother of Sydney)

I think that Rabbi Rocket Power was an amazing story.  It was the perfect sized book for a quick fun read.  It was hilarious-- for all ages.  It was for kids, but any age could enjoy it.  Its even great for kids just getting into chapter books.  The illustrations were terrific they added humor to the story.  I liked the character of the cat and the whole cat story line.  He is a cool funny character and a creative, hilarious element of the story.  The book is a fun Hanukkah read- a good choice for reading out loud as well.  I loved it and I hope you will too.

Ethan, age 11

This book is funny and fun for young or older aged kids. Although it is meant for younger kids, I liked it a lot.
My favorite character was Purr because she is nasty but also hilarious.
I believe this book is funny and other kids will like it. Also, it is easy to read, so little kids can get a kick out of reading.

Alex, age 10

"Faster than a speeding matzah ball! More powerful than chicken soup! It's Rabbi Rocketpower!" from the book called Rabbi Rocketpower and The Mystery of the Missing Menorahs that came out last month.
One night, a spaceship full of alien meowrats (mee-ow-rats) made an emergency landing in the woods. The meowrats thought their rocket boosters were broken. They stole every one of the menorahs that were in the neighborhood. Aaron's dad tried to help with his super computer to translate the meowrat language to English. Aaron asked his mom for help and she transformed into Rabbi Rocketpower.
It's about a female rabbi and her son who can turn into superheroes whenever evil appears. The family is the Dad, the Mom, Aaron, and their crazy cat Purr, who can talk and usually says mean things. It teaches about Hanukkah while reading the funny story. You should read this book.

Amanda, age 9

When I was 7 years old, I read this story and I could even understand the big words in it. It was fun finding out what the meowrats were saying to each other in their special language.  The meowrats only landed on earth because their spaceship broke and they stole the menorahs to fix it.
This story is about a girl rabbi called Rabbi Rocketpower who helps return the menorahs to families. Rabbi Rocketpower comes to the rescue and finally Hanukkah can start.
