The author, Rabbi Susan Abramson, has been the rabbi of Temple Shalom Emeth since 1984. She is the longest serving female rabbi in Massachusetts and one of the first fifty women ever to be ordained as a rabbi. She is a graduate of Brandeis University and Hebrew Union College – Jewish Institute of Religion. She received her Doctor of Divinity from Hebrew Union College in 2006.

The illustrator, Ariel DiOrio has been illustrating her own stories since she was three years old. She is currently a senior at the Mass College of Art and Design in Boston with plans to use her artistic talents for Tikkun Olam, to help the world be a better place. She is happy to help bring Rabbi Rocketpower's message to life - "Saving the world one mitzvah at a time."

Laura Standley, illustrator of Rabbi Rocketpower in a Tooty Fruity Tale for Tu Bishvat, is a senior at Woburn Memorial High School and an active member of Temple Shalom Emeth. She will be pursuing a career in engineering at M.I.T. and hopes to continue her interest in art.
